Getting Busy......

I see our customers playing guessing game about which of the solo/photosession models are going to continue working? Well, I have to say that more often than not it is mystery to me as well. Nowadays it became fairly serious decision for the boys. Chances are that parents/friends/professors or employers are going to find out is really high and in some cases the consequences can be really unpleasant. So I've given up recruiting models where I suspect serious personal distress later on. But of course - my task is to recruit them not to discourage them, so I have a serious conflict of interest. Nevertheless I am concentrating on easier models or the ones who are more independent-minded. As a result it happens that, here and there, I miss the ones I'd like most. (And many of the best simply wouldn't go beyond the solo.) On the other hand, thanks to the Goldman Sachs financial wizards, our recruitment seems to be way easier than a couple of years earlier.

Despite all the troubles our recruitment ratio is good. Currently about 16 - 20 new boys are being prepared for shooting full scale sex scenes. Some of them (more mature looking) are going to be premiered on the main site in the "step by step" section which is coming out later in the summer to replace the bonus Corbin Fisher programming. The younger, twinkier ones will be gradually premiered on the new site in a "prep-school" section. (Or should I call it BA Choir Boys ?) In any case - 400 000 frustrated catholic priests would make for a great customer base. I'll think it over.

Return from Capetown

George Duroy Letter: "So we are back from Cape Town. Half of the models were instantly laid up in bed by all sorts of flu and diarrhea viruses. From an average temperature of 90+F we are down to reality of 45 and the suntan is quickly evaporating. My favorite toothless black maid Nanana is gone and burly blond valkyry Silvia is back in charge of my household. The radio is playing the McGuire sisters ('Sincerely'), Dolph is doing school assignments in his bedroom while Sascha Chaykin is bumming around trying to attract my attention. He has a spent a month or two in the gym to regain his original shape. From what I can see, he succeeded.
I admit I miss the terrace overseeing white sandy beaches and the ocean and lazy early morning coffee. I also miss little Kevin (see the picture). Every morning he slipped in my room and crawled under bottom part of my blanket like a Sioux Indian. On his way up he would stop for a short blowjob. When he felt I had woken up, his smiley face would stick out from underneath the blanket. His 'Good Morning, Mr. George!' sounded remarkably close to Marylin Monroe's 'Happy birtday, Mr. President!'.
The McGuire Sisters have arrived at 'It may sound Silly'. Time to go. Happy Easter. Sincerely yours - Mr.GEORGE."

Packing for Cape Town!

I am packing for Cape Town right now - as you read these words I will already be in South Africa - and gearing up for what will probably be the biggest single shoot in Bel Ami history. A few days after I arrive I'll be followed by a complete Bel Ami crew: cameramen, production managers, interpreters, drivers, assistants, a person in charge of archiving materials and, of course, models (27 of them!) who are arriving in two big groups from airports in Vienna and Budapest.

One week later, we will be joined by photographers, Photo School participants and occasional celebrity visitors. I have to admit to being a bit nervous about the whole venture. Considering the actual shape of the porn industry right now, the whole thing seems to be out of proportion.

It is our first African trip following a four-year pause - and the last one was a real disaster. So keep your dicks crossed for me. If you pray enough to Dionysus, you'll get a new website as a result plus great summer programming. If you don't pray enough, you'll get increased fees instead to foot the bill.

Originally I wanted to be an investment banker, you know!

Sleepy Season

January and February are traditionally slow months here at Bel Ami. Firstly, the weather is not merely cold - it is Siberian. Secondly, the camera people edit as much material as they possibly can to have enough time for spring and summer shoots. Thirdly, we are accumulating funds for the March Cape Town projects which I planned a bit too generously and our accountants are getting desperate. March happens to be also tax month. (There will be seven cameramen and thirty models not to count rest of the crew going).

March will be followed by a quieter April and the models are scheduled to travel to do rather exotic assignments in locations like Istanbul, Israel or Nevada. I am quite busy, too. I must prepare newsletters and programming for three months ahead of time.

Sisi. Or Sissy? The good news is that you'll get monthly updates on many of your favorites: Kris Evans, the Peters twins and Trevor Yates will appear regularly. A junior team of yummy 18-20 y/o newcomers is being prepared including rather over-sized blond cousin of Dolph Lambert who is still blushing while having sex. And finally: we acquired a new puppy. Ariel Vanean has a new dog, Sisi. Or Sissy? Who the hell knows - and she doesn't care anyway!
